Catherine Maddens

Catherine Maddens was born in 1965 in Normandy in 1965, her youth is marked by the Impressionists, an artistic movement very appreciated by her father, amateur painter and sculptor, who transmits her love of painting to her. She lives in Paris. Licensed in clinical psychology, she first thinks of being an art therapist. She trained in Paris in graphics and exercises this profession 28 years, 16 of which being independent at the Maison des Artistes.
Her vocation as an growing artist since adolescence has her painted as soon as her work allows her. She realized her dream from 2013, devoting herself exclusively to art. In order to share her love for abstract art, from 2012 to 2018, she gave collective less painting courses to adults, in order to accompany them to reconnect with their desire to create and the pleasure of painting.
The essence of its artistic approach
Catherine Maddens experiences different formats and materials to create transcendent, joyful and alive colored abstract spaces. She has always been passionate about the essence of color. She chose to invest in an abstract contemporary painting to give free rein to her powerful creative energy. She is still looking for this absolute freedom.
She explores creative experiments infinitely to surpass herself. Passionate about modified states of consciousness, meditation, creation and healing processes. It channels this source energy to express the transcendent movements of life and its potential, and embark the spectators in a sensitive and spiritual experience.
She is interested in the notions of quantum universe, shamanism, nature, and in the place of women in our societies. His inspirations: John M.
