Alain Boemare

After learning to draw and paint in the Fine Arts of Rouen (France) Alain Boemare settled as an independent. During this period, he carried out various graphic design, illustration and theater sets. He was then hired at the Ministry of Equipment to visualize major work projects, it was most often a question of painting on a photograph of the current state of the landscape, his state after realization, manually doing what do today HOI 3D drawing software. His interest in these projects gave birth to the desire to better understand their logic and the development policy in which they were registered. At that time, he started new studies in geography.
After having obtained the diploma of the School of Hautes Studies in Social Sciences (Paris) and a DEA (Master) of biogeography at the Sorbonne, he again exercises in liberal, sharing his time between development studies, drawing and the painting. Geography has renewed its way of looking at the landscape but this double activity being sometimes difficult to manage and, the years passing, it decides to devote more and more time to drawing and painting.
