Inspired by nature and the elements
Professor of schools in parallel, Marc Mugnier devotes his free time to the creation and sublimation of stones. A real jack-of-all-trades, he makes his works from the birth of the project until their finalization. Thanks to this inexhaustible source of inspiration that is nature, it gives rise to sculptures that redefine the environment in which they are.

Artist of material imagination, Marc Mugnier relies on archetypal forms. He adds to nature from what she offers herself. His field of action is unlimited and he must each time invent his own method to assemble his materials. It all starts with the collection of stones before welding them together and bending the metal. Sometimes the recovered stones remain months or even years in the workshop without being worked. And one day, an inspiration, a click.
