Jake Wood Evans
Jake Wood-Evans is a British artist known for his dark, ethereal oil paintings. Jake takes inspiration from both classical and contemporary art to create works that are visually rich and emotionally unsettling. We love the artist’s powerful use of light and the intense layers of colour that he builds up on his canvases.
Jake studied Fine Art at Falmouth University, where he was awarded a scholarship from the Royal Academy to study at the Prado museum in Madrid. The artist now lives and works in Brighton.
Jake has exhibited in London and Brighton to great acclaim. His work can also be found in private collections internationally, including collections in New York, Malaysia, Antwerp and Miami.
