Franck Chambrun

Franck Chambrun was born 1970 in Argenteuil, Val d'Oise has lived and has been working in Saint-Brieuc since 1997. The framing of an image - the space of a production - offers the frozen vision of a moment, the plot overview of a larger set. The format circumscribed a moment which is part of a broader movement, a continuity defined in space and time. Expand or stretch the proposal beyond a standardized framing must allow a larger space to be apprehended, a temporal sequence, the perception of movement. We evolve in a moving and enveloping reality. Our perception is designed for a three -dimensional environment. Restping your field of intervention in a limited format reduced our experience, encloses in the moment, freezes in the space of a framing. It is a question of extending or dilating the format, even if it means framing it, even if its complete perception is impossible in a single limited look at our visual field, or even if the possibilities of exposure constitute fragmentation.
