Paris Ackrill is a Birmingham-born artist whose work spans photography, video and immersive installation. Her large format, hand-printed photographs celebrate the natural landscape and capture its spiritual qualities. We love this artist’s exploration of humankind’s special connection to the earth. She integrates human figures into the natural environment in a way that is beautifully organic - and truly soulful.
Paris Ackrill's Career
Paris studied Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh before pursuing Fine Art at the Chelsea College of Arts. In 2012, she was awarded a prize by National Geographic Traveller.
Exhibitions
The artist has exhibited her work at the Marrakech Biennale in Morocco and the Summer Exhibition at London’s Royal Academy. Paris has also been a featured artist with Gallery Elena Shchukina in Mayfair and the Unit London.
