Vincent Gabin

From landscape to landscape, Vincent Gabin takes us to discover his “lost garden”. His paintings immerse us in his daily environment with warm and summer shades.
A substantial change of career: from designer to painter
Born in Burgundy, Vincent Gabin now lives in Paris. After training in the Fine Arts in Dijon and design studies in the capital, he exercised the profession of freelancery creator in eyewear for 14 years. Following a series of professional trips to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, New York, Milan, Daegu, he decided to devote himself entirely to painting with first research in 2003.
An intimate story behind each landscape
It is for the sale of the family property that Vincent Gabin sees what he has always known: dense, omnipresent vegetation, all around the house. As dense that he could no longer contemplate the Doubs, a river which flows peacefully below his garden.
As he likes to remind you, "this vegetation, I contemplated it, maintained, absorbed, over the years." For him, each painting of his collection could be called "in search of my lost garden".
Now his gaze is towards other horizons: the south, more smiling, with a different and hot light. Vincent Gabin wishes to make us find “our lost garden”. This is why, behind each of the paintings in his gallery, hides a very special story.
