Yaroslav Gorbanevsky is an artist, designer, engraver and teacher
Born in 1961 in Moscow, he arrived in France in 1976. He lives and worked in Paris.
"The source of my inspiration is the light that gives life and color to the world.
My creative work is therefore accomplished both in figuration: to express light and life, and in abstraction: to seek and find the forms of this expression.
I say "express" in the broad sense: observation and imaginary.
I am an artist of the line who begins at the Lascaux cave, continues through antiquity and the Middle Ages, enters into rebirth, goes through baroque and classicism and who finally, arrives with impressionism, Cezanne , Gauguin and Van Gogh and finally, the avant-garde: wild beasts, expressionism, cubism etc ...
