Marie-Pierre Autonne
Born in Paris in 1960, Marie-Pierre Autonne studied in a Montessori method school. At the same time, she follows Martenot method drawing lessons and painting lessons. She continues her graphic design studies in Penninghen. Independent of nature, she has long coincided the profession of graphic designer and that of travel accompanist. She 2009, she leaves & nbsp; for Montreal where she fully guides her life towards painting. She shares a workshop "L’ef 425" with a Cluca, French painter and Stanley February, Haitian visual artist. It develops its two sensitivities: one abstract in a vertigo of colors and search for materials, the other more focused on wild nature in Quebec. In 2015, she returned to France, in Valence. After some great exhibitions, she continued her trip and settled in 2020 on the banks of the Loire near Angers. Hypnotized by the majestic Loire and its tributaries, she shares this form of eternity, the back of the water and her world of trees and clouds that slide there. Autonne has two sources of inspiration: one reveals the stealthy beauty of the nature that surrounds it, the other more abstract, explores the depths of its energy and its states of souls. With contemplative energy to see meditative, It offers a trip to the reflections of water, the hidden and ephemeral world of the clouds or trees that bathe there. Painted on birch wood, his technique mixes acrylic underlaying, then a patient with oil work. The line and gesture sometimes evokes the work of the enamels where the colored borders vibrate them with colored platforms. Its chromatic palette is wide, the intense colors that rekindle the real: the sky is yellow, the blue trees, the red grass. In its more abstract expression, its inspiration is a glowing, magmatic energy. The pigment is frank and powerful. The color vibrates, the materials merge. Papers, pigments, leaves, pencils, pastels, acrylics, inks overlap, mingle, soak up in a joyful symphony. For her, painting is also, subtly, music. She is needed to work and she likes to believe that there are some echoes left in what she paints.
