Maryan (Pinchas Burstein)

Maryan S. Maryan, pseudonym of & nbsp; Pinchas Burstein, born the & nbsp; 1st & nbsp; January 1927 & nbsp; NOSP; NOWY SąCZ & NBSP; (Poland) and Death on & nbsp; June & nbsp; 1977 & nbsp; American re & nbsp; Originally & nbsp; Polish. Deported to & nbsp; Auschwitz & nbsp; during the war, after being in several camps, injured for the first time, Pinchas Burstein is the only one in his family to return. On arrival of the Russians, the & nbsp; Germans & nbsp; decide to shoot the survivors & nbsp ;; He receives eight bullets in the body. It is amputated with a leg and leaves to & nbsp; Jerusalem & nbsp; studying the art & nbsp; and the & nbsp; painting & nbsp; at the New Bézalel Art School after having remained two years in a refugee camp in Germany. It is presented from the & nbsp; 1960s & nbsp; by large galleries & nbsp ;: & nbsp; Allan FRUMKIN & NBSP; Nbsp; Chicago & nbsp; and to & nbsp; New York & Nbsp; Exhibiting among others & Nbsp; Matta, & nbsp; Philip Guston & nbsp; & nbsp; Peter Saul, & nbsp; Galerie de France & nbsp; Beaux-Arts) to & nbsp; Paris & nbsp; also presented & nbsp; Bacon, & nbsp; Balkhus & nbsp; and & nbsp; peter Blake & nbsp; at the same time. Denise Breteau also presented it alongside & nbsp; Peter Saul.maryan is the author of an original work as much as strong and made of different periods, among them & nbsp;: Characters' periods "& nbsp; and "& nbsp; with boxes & nbsp;" (from 1959 to 1962), characters "& nbsp; in the desert & nbsp;" (1955 to 1957), periods of "& nbsp; flower knights & nbsp;" (1953-1954) and "& nbsp; knights robots & nbsp;" (1957-1959), "& nbsp; American period & nbsp;" (from the 1960s & nbsp; at his death). Maryan lived mainly at & nbsp; Paris & nbsp; and at & nbsp; New York & Nbsp;
