More Works by Henry Glover
Henry Glover
British artist Henry Glover (b.1997, United Kingdom) lives and works in London, where he primarily produces paintings and sculptures. Glover creates phantasmic artwork circling the medieval, folklore, nature and myth through the lens of our contemporary times.

Henry Glover’s Career and Practice

Glover graduated from Wimbledon College of Art and Design, where he studied Fine Art and Painting. Throughout his studies and career, he has developed an expressionistic and figurative style that has earned him widespread recognition. Finding revelations within the creative process, Glover works cyclically between pigments and ceramics, often preferring wet media such as oils and clay as he feels these are better suited to capturing human forms and the intimacy of touch. Glover quotes remembered conversations or song lyrics in his artwork titles to enhance this sense of familiarity and closeness and invites catharsis by reflecting on the human condition and elevating everyday situations into grander dramatic contexts of tragedy and heroism.
