More Works by Nick Malone
Nick Malone
Nick Malone is a British artist and polymath who works across disciplines to create his art, combining literature, academia and the visual arts. Working primarily with drawings and paintings, Nick combines traditional techniques with more experimental ones, creating artwork that is visually dynamic and full of contrasts. His style is largely abstract in content, but there’s also an element of realism that runs through his body of work. This interaction between different styles and techniques is central to Nick’s art, forming pieces that are highly expressive and intriguing in their exploration of conflict and difference.

Nick Malone’s Career

Nick came to the visual arts via an interesting path, beginning his career as an academic following an MA in Literature from Queen Mary University. After working as a professor of modern literature in Greece, he turned his attention to fine art, earning an MA in Fine Art from the prestigious Central St Martins in London. He has since achieved great success with his abstract paintings, and has even combined his passions by creating books that feature illustrative drawings.

Awards and Exhibitions

Nick’s abstract drawings and paintings have been exhibited across the world, from Tokyo to Idaho in the United States. Most notably, his work has been hung at the Royal Academy, the Carrousel du Louvre and the Dulwich Picture Gallery. He has also won various important awards and recognition, including an Arts Council England Award and a Fellowship of The Royal Society of Arts.
