Olive Santaoloria

Olive Santaoloria grew up in the southwest of France, in the middle of the Bordeaux vineyards and the La Garonne river. He currently lives and works in Paris. The man, the woman, the couple and more generally humanity are at the center of his artistic creation. Souls and their reflections fascinates him. They make pictures/photo-graphic portraits distorted by the movements of the surface of the water. He describes his work as "portraits with landscapes, the man with a thousand faces, the woman with a thousand reflections ...". With the series "Leviathan" and "Rouge", Olive Santaoloria seeks to go further in the notion of "photo-graphic" by focusing more on an original graphics for a unique result than an academic treatment. At the same time, he works on a third series where he explores the depths of black. Since 2013, his works have been regularly exhibited in France and abroad. It has also been published worldwide, both in the artistic press and the magazine Lifestyle.
