We can arrange and oversee the creation of a new work, made specifically for you.
Craig Stover is an accomplished artist who established his studio in Philadelphia in 1999. His works can be found in numerous collections (public and private). His work is mainly characterized by the use of his bold colors, iconic shapes and dynamic use of line. These characteristics can be traced back to his explorations in printmaking but later continued in his paintings, drawings and sculptures.
The sculptures offered here are the result of his student days learning pop-up book making. More than just sculptures, the artist thinks of these as drawings in space. They don't contain volume but rather imply that it exists. The offered items are thought of as maquettes for much larger versions that could be commissioned to be made large.
