Béatrice Baulard, textile plastic artist, has been living in the south for over 20 years. Fascinated by the diversity of materials and textures since always, Béatrice found in textiles a form of expression that allows her to combine know-how and modernity. Her artistic approach, which oscillates between sculpture and pattern work, relies on a great mastery of artisanal techniques such as weaving, knitting, crocheting, and tufting. Her visual universe is deeply rooted in the geography that surrounds her: the sinuosity of rivers, the vibration of light, and the textures of rocks and plants. Her creations range from delicate meticulous formats to monumental pieces. But beyond the aesthetic dimension, Béatrice Baulard's work is part of a deeply respectful approach to the environment. Originally from the Jura, she settled in Paris in the 90s and traversed exhibitions and museums. In this way, she nourished an eye, a personal catalog of artistic references, and dreamed of discovering a talent. This is what she committed to by first getting into drawing, painting, sculpture, and then jewelry making. She lives and works in Vaucluse in Venasque under Mont Ventoux. Her work was exhibited in 2024 at the Saint-Pierre church imagined by Le Corbusier in Firminy and at Maison Curieuse in Vaison La Romaine, and in 2025 at the OpenBach Gallery in Vincennes.
