More Works by Vincent Bardou
Vincent Bardou
The painter Vincent Bardou offers in his paintings his own vision of the world with a unique and daring style, a mixture of pop art and street art. Che Gevara, Darth Vader, Pablo Picasso, Nelson Mandela or Mickey share the headliner, each passing the artist's message in their own way, whether it is a tribute or a commitment to the situation of the current world.
Portraits to convey a message
Vincent Bardou started drawing from the age of 6. It was quickly influenced by the urban environment and its expression, especially the graffiti which it has perfected over the years. After a career start as a designer, he decided, at 25, to devote his life to painting.
Portraits of pop-culture stars or large icons, Vincent Bardou always deals with his subject with passion and curiosity, as a true witness to his time.
Walls with canvas, there is only one step
Vincent Bardou's technique is just as unique: it represents characters and animals like a stencil, or certain collages visible on the walls of our cities, thus passing this street art to the canvas. He added his ultra-colored touch to it, to the bomb, creating a striking contrast to the eye, the character seeming "glued" on the bottom.
