More Works by Clotilde Nadel
Clotilde Nadel
The painter Clotilde Nadel brilliantly combines Japanese tradition with the reality of the contemporary world. The places crossed and the images she meets deeply inspires this lover of the life movement. Illustration with the Painting of the National School of Graphic Arts on rue d'Ulm, Clotilde Nadel creates his workshop Illustration in the 1980s. She then mainly worked on airographer for publishing and art books. & nbsp; after 25 years of career as an illustrator for advertising and publishing, she decides to devote herself entirely to painting. From this job, Clotilde Nadel has retained a precise and realistic touch, which does not prevent a sensitive reverie and real poetry. Like a painter-rebellious of Clotilde Nadel works on the places crossed, the images that she meets. From then on, she recomposes her own vision. She likes to make situations mixing the secular tradition of certain cultures like that of Japan and the reality of the contemporary world. Clotilde Nadel acts like a painter-reporter reflecting a daily newspaper sublimated by color and light. In real city car, Clotilde Nadel likes to introduce many characters in her paintings. "You need movement in a painting, life," she said.
