Onemizer
Onemizer was born in 1987 in the South of France. His first encounter with art was in Africa, where he spent part of his childhood. When he returned to France as a teenager, he became acquainted with urban art while wandering around Paris. He marvelled at the graffiti along the walls of the ring road. The story continues in the wastelands, railway lines and disused warehouses where he paints out of sight. After secondary school, he decided to study art at a design school, before finally pursuing his career as a self-taught artist. The people around him encouraged him to go from the wall to the canvas, and encouraged him to exhibit his work as he met people in hotels, restaurants, bars, etc. He has come a long way since his beginnings on the street, and now exhibits in a number of international art galleries. Onemizer draws his inspiration from everywhere, from the classics of art to his everyday life, and from what he grew up with. His dream is that the writing, drawings and graffiti in which he has found his greatest source of inspiration will no longer be seen as undesirable.
