Richard's work most often encompasses a narrative that develops and unravels into a series of images. The events and subject matter are usually comprised with satirical elements of popular culture and certain genres, with particular attention to science fiction. He mainly works in acrylics and oils and currently lives in Rotherhithe, London.
He studied Fine Art at the University of the West of England, Bristol and graduated 2011. He then travelled to London to pursue a Masters in Art History. Between 2011 – 2012 he studied Fine and Decorative Art at Sotheby's Institute of Art, London and upon finishing the MA at Sotheby’s, he began working for Christie’s, where he remains working at present. Being at Christie's has enabled Richard to submit works for their annual staff online auctions, such as Christie's Summer Staff Exhibition - 2015 and Summer Staff Exhibition 2016, but also a chance to showcase his work at The Gallery 54, Shepherd Market.
