Wilfrid Moizan

Born: 1969 in Lannion, France
Lives and Works: Marigot, Saint Martin

Born in 1969 in Brittany, Wilfrid Moizan is an experienced painter inspired by the entanglement of bodies (human figures and objects) and spaces. He draws from a broader inquiry into memory, lost time, and the fragility of existence, themes that he skillfully weaves into his portrait and landscape paintings.

Driven by the interaction between people and things and the space they inhabit, Wilfred Moizan creates intriguing pictorial narratives of absence, disappearance, and discovery.
