Born 1983, contemporary artist Sara Hoppe creates collages and oil paintings, often geometric in style. Her work contrasts a careful treatment of colour with a set of destructive technical methods. The artist is interested in exploring the development of new forms through the layering of multiple surfaces and fragmentary elements, taken and transferred to create a new pictorial structure.
