Abstract digital artist Evelyn Morgan is known for her experimental portraits, often composed of colourful patterns and shapes. Evelyn merges figurative and abstract forms from a place of intuition and self-reflection.

Evelyn Morgan’s Inspiration

Taking inspiration from her background in Graphic Design and her passion for clothing and fashion photography, Evelyn sees her paintings as designs. She digitally collages and manipulates her portraits with an iPad before transferring her composition onto the canvas. Then, she plays with mark-making and colour schemes to reflect a mood, feeling, thought, or phrase. Evelyn primarily produces her expressive works with acrylics and oils on canvas.

Training and Exhibitions

Evelyn has a BA in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University and accomplished her Art Foundation at Northampton University. She has recently exhibited at The Other Art Fair in London and received first place in The Holy Art Exhibition Prize.
