Isabelle Joubert is a visual artist and lives in Chambéry, France. She creates collages, paintings, embroidery, and drawings that invariably explore the different elements of a natural world and her place as a woman in that world. By feeling the beauty of natural things, she emphasizes through her works the importance of a life connected to nature.
Her preferred tools are watercolor, acrylic, and the recycling of paper, including small scraps that become beautiful poetic shapes, with a view towards "zero waste." In this movement, she also works on the purity of natural colors derived from plants recovered from her garden or her kitchen.
