François Pagé

From figurative to works bordering on abstraction, François Pagé's style is difficult to define. His painting is particularly poetic and lyrical, allowing him to translate his deepest emotions into images. A poet painter Born in 1962, François Pagé studied art history at the Louvre School, then after obtaining a national diploma in plastic expression from the School of Fine Arts, he set up his studio in Chambray - Les - Tours. François creates works that explode with colors. His creations are inspired by poetic texts that he writes himself, which then become their titles. Pretexts for illustrating his poems, the works cover a wide spectrum of manners and styles, which sometimes seem inspired by Impressionism, Realism, Fauvism, or even Expressionism. A renowned artist François Pagé's works are present in numerous public collections: City of Batz sur Mer, Saint Avertin, Fondettes, Fontaine-lès-Dijon, Saint-Ouen-Marchefroy, Cabourg, Monnaie, Chambray-les-Tours, Loches, Isle Adam Museum, Indre et Loire Departmental Council, Copelouzos Family Art Museum (Athens), as well as in private collections abroad: Australia, Austria, Germany, Algeria, England, Belgium, Canada, South Korea, China, Spain, Estonia, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Malaysia, Monaco, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Taiwan, United States.
