Simon Tatum

Simon Tatum, an artist from the Cayman Islands based in Nashville, explores double consciousness by deconstructing images and objects tied to colonial narratives and tourism. His work reflects on his mixed Caribbean identity. A graduate of Kent State University, he exhibits internationally, notably at Documenta 15 in 2022, and currently works at Vanderbilt University.
