I was born in Greece in 1990, and in 2013 gained MA Fine Arts degree at the University of Thessaloniki, the city where I live and work. I have been selected for group exhibitions in Greece, Sweden, Germany and the UK.Dealing with fictional cities, I create haunting works that contrast the old and the new. Poverty and luxury, tradition and innovation, stasis and change jostle against one another in pieces that have a gently dreamlike quality.I use surreal elements to show the irony of the contemporary world, where things are turned upside down. The colours, the reds and oranges, strengthen the work, and can surprise the viewer.”
