Until very recently, Carla was a chemical engineer. Now a full-time professional artist, her abstract paintings compound pure emotion and artistic flair in a creative chemical reaction. Both visually compelling and intensely personal, her highly abstract acrylic studies emerge from polychromatic paint drips, splash marks, and intense experimentation. Carla's practice is impulsive and sensitive; her style is temperamental and honest. Through a process that is not wholly definable, she delivers effusive representations of the artist's inner world.
