Steve Moors is a highly sought after conceptual digital artist inspired by the transition and incongruities between old and new forms of expression and communication.
Some of Steve’s clients include Microsoft, The Atlantic, Harvard Business Review and New York Times.
Multi-hyphenate Steve has worked as an artist, an art teacher, an art director, an illustrator, a graphic designer and more.
Steve Moors is a British-American artist based in New York. Over the years, Steve has mastered multiple disciplines, from painting and illustration to art direction and graphic design. Steve is especially well-known for his original hand-rendered digital prints.
Steve Moors’ Style & Practice
Using a digital version of an HB pencil, Steve works tirelessly as a digital draughtsman to render prints that mirror the refined sensitivity of traditional pencil on paper works. Steve is motivated by his fascination with “the incongruities and conflicting self-deceptions created by the struggle between our primal and our present modern selves.” By merging a hyper-modern medium with a classical practice, he creates a new and refreshing visual language to explore a contemporary cultural enigma.

A range of esteemed magazines have showcased Steve’s illustrative works and featured interviews with the conceptual artist. He has also exhibited worldwide: in the U.S.A, Israel, and the United Kingdom, including an invitation-only show at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Some commissioning clients include Microsoft, Time Magazine, New York Times, Rolling Stone and Sunday Times Magazine. Along the way, Steve has picked up several prestigious awards.
