Alison Bignon, through inclusions and intersections of assemblies, creates sequences of highlights in an order where the real and the imaginary coexist and intertwine. From arranged fragments emerges the least predictable, the most uncertain but also the most convincing conjugation that is never devoid of humor. Painting opens through figuration to unknown and displaced places. From these "staged" presentations emerge traces through the effective presence of bodies.
