Gorkem Dikel

She graduated from MSFAU Painting Department in 2012. Before graduation, she made her first solo show at Soda with the name "Bigger Than You". In the same year, she started her master's degree at MSFAU Painting Department, in 2019 she graduated from the MFA. She now continues her art doctorate at MSFAU. She spent 2009-2010 undergraduate years at Universidad de Sevilla, Bellas Artes, in 2010 the artist became the first artist from Turkey to be receive the art scholarship of Fundación Antonio Gala. After that she was a guest artist in Plein-AIR of Fundación Tres Culturas, Spain. In 2013, she made her second solo exhibition titled “Empatía” at Arte Aula in Seville. She had a duo show opened at Anna Laudel Contemporary in the same year. Her works were exhibited in London (Parallax Art Fair), Art Sevilla Fair, Contemporary Istanbul, Artweeks Akaretler fairs. She took part in La Noche En Blanco with Arquemi Gallery, Spain. Since 2010, she had worked with Soda, Mixer, Anna Laudel, Krampf, Mixer, Dolmacı galleries and recently with Merkür Gallery in Turkey. Her works are part of international collections in the USA, Australia, England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, China and Turkey such as Emaar Square, Mastercard, Capital One Bank, Horoz Logistics, Ant Yapı, Halk Bank, Sancak Group, Anna Laudel, North Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts and in private collections. In 2019, she presented her works to Parisian art lovers in the group exhibition 'Heritage' in Espace Marais-Marais.
