Anthony Moreau

Born in 1989 in France, Anthony J. Moreau is a French artist influenced by French artistic traditions from the Belle Époque to post-impressionism. After learning narrative drawing, he becomes more interested in the source of all impulse, namely emotion, in pictorial language as such, which is conveyed through graphic choices, compositions, and supports, as well as the qualities of oil painting and other mediums used.

From more or less complex assemblies of ideas and images, the artist seeks ideal and harmonious compositions that then serve as documentation and references for oil paintings.

Through this process, Anthony J. Moreau bridges tradition and innovation, capturing the essence of human experience through expressive brushstrokes and thoughtful compositions. His art invites viewers to contemplate the interaction of form, color, and emotion, transcending time and place.
