Valérie Buffetaud

Valérie Buffetaud was born in 1962 in Versailles, France. She lives and works in Paris and Haute-Provence, after having long stays in Tuscany. Painter and engraver, she also practiced sculpture, ceramics and photography. She has exhibited since 1988 in Europe, during collective exhibitions (Geneva, Siena, Salzburg, Berlin ...) and personal exhibitions (Paris, Florence, Berlin, Luxembourg ...). Present in private collections (Europe, Japan, Australia, the United States), it is represented by Immaginaria Arti Visive Gallery from Florence (Italy) since 2001 with which she has participated in many international fairs. Her keen interest in literature and music, leads her to collaborate with poets and to perform in public during multiple performances combining painting, music and poetry or theater. Several publications at About/2 -editions. Latest publication "Atmospheric landscapes" by editions "USHER ARTE catalog" in 2019, with a text by Anne Dopffer. A documentary "Course" by Franck Moatti in 2011, traces his journey. Valérie Buffetaud's artistic approach is nourished by nature and conveyed by the force of color and the vibration of material.
