Louis Vairel paints the animal. This animal is only encountered through the image. This animal that we no longer know and that we consider it as different from us. He stages him so that he invades space. Its exacerbated size makes it inevitable to our gaze, especially in a domestic and familiar space. Reading the table is disturbed, the chimera becomes an anomaly. This series of paintings illustrates the relationship between an unknown wild world and our daily lives, amplified by an inevitable contrast of scale. After studying art at the Higher School of Art and Design of Reims Louis Vairel designs and performs objects, lights and furniture in his Toulouse workshop before devoting themselves to acrylic and digital and manuscriptive illustration. in January 2020.
