Painting has always been part of his life: from his childhood, during his studies, as well as in his professional career. And to her greatest joy she has taken very varied forms. Indeed, just after her studies in the decorative arts of Paris, she applied herself to more than thirty living shows (theater, dance, concerts) and Cinema and television sets, in France as well as in Portugal and Belgium. She subsequently, in parallel with her practice as a painter, had the opportunity to teach in workshops, preparatory art schools. Activity that she always pursues with great pleasure in this transmission of knowledge. Without painting often combines and juxtaposes mixed techniques, such as oil, acrylic, pastel, ink, collages, on varied supports such as paper, canvas, wood or cardboard. The themes tirelessly vary, often strongly linked to space: architecture, landscape, theater decor, always anchored in a certain lyricism concerned with the search for balance between forms and colors, between field and off-champ. Humor, music and bright colors. The features bind and delight, the forms embrace, creating dynamic rhythms. With her inspiration, sometimes she paints, sticks, or even sew, leaving all the room for gesturing. Very often she declines this energy in the form of series. She likes to play with the share of chance, while taking care to master it: knowing how to stop her momentum, her gesture at the right time ... This is among other things what motivated her particularly in the creative act!
