Leila Lallali

Leila Lallali, born in Luxembourg, is a self-taught artist based in Berlin, Germany.

Leila likes to explore every day things like food and fashion and find a humorous twist to them; almost like an ode to childhood where imagination soars and the world doesn’t need to make sense.

Her paintings are playful and rich in colour and her practice likes to oscillate between the figurative and the abstract, the undefined.

The artist would like for her work to exist as a counterbalance to the sometimes grim realities of life and inspire the viewer to contemplate the beautiful and ultimately celebrate life, encourage folly.

Ideally, they incite amusement and provoke a little smirk on the viewer's face.
