Born in 1989, KEF! is a German artist whose Street Art and vibrant urban murals translate into large-scale public art installations. His abstract graffiti patterns gained him international critical and commercial success and made KEF! a namesake in contemporary street art. KEF! SUPER SIZE MEDITATIVE ART
KEF!’s geometric street art shapes span for size, from limited edition prints to colossal murals. His work has an underlying spiritual element hypnotic, harmonious and peaceful, as the artist takes influence from nature and Buddhist teachings, blending fine art, painting and drawings with his meditative ethos.
From public art installations to abstract paintings, KEF! constantly seeks to engage with the viewer and spread positive energy through his art, intentionally transcending subjects traditionally associated with street art.
PROCESS
KEF! has been painting for most of his life, starting with fluid graffiti lines at 14 before deciding to pursue an art career,moving to London in 2013. KEF! decided not to train as an artist and instead saw contemporary street art and its artists as his teachers.
KEF! considers himself both a street artist and an abstract designer, using techniques such as spray paint, stickers and tagging while amplifying harmonious street art visuals. KEF! moved to Berlin in 2015 and continues to travel the world. You can find his art for sale and on display in top galleries with international acclaim, including in France, Italy, China, and the States' Onessimo Fine Art Gallery.
KEF! WORLDWIDE COLLABORATIONS
The captivating appearance of KEF! 's street art caught the attention of brands such as Urban Outfitters, and his maximalist size contemporary murals are now in their stores across the UK, Germany and Hong Kong. KEF has recently collaborated with Printemps in Paris, Genesis Cinema in London, Artyzen Habitat Hotel in Shanghai, and Park Lane Hotel in Hong Kong.
