Bianca MacCall is a visual artist who studied at the highly respected Arts University Bournemouth.
Bianca's work explores the idea of space, in both industrial and natural environments.
Bianca is one to watch for the future. Her architectural work would look great in a creative environment.
Bianca MacCall’s work explores the emotional emptiness of public space. Her chosen scenes are recognisable or reminiscent of places that exist, but are meant to be dream-like and unsettling, familiar yet surreal, designed to evoke a half forgotten memory. They are devoid of figures so that the viewer becomes the main protagonist in the witnessed drama. Sometimes the landscape is observed from the street, at other times it could be from a train window or car windscreen, always the viewer is moving through their surroundings, experiencing the detritus of urban life.
