I live in the seaside city of Brighton, UK. After a long absence, i have started to paint again. I paint in oils on canvas. My creative process relies on many years of building up may own visual language, whilst working instinctively rather than pre-planning my compositions. I prefer to see each painting as a puzzle i need to solve.
I've always been intrigued by what the future will look like, and how architecture, communications and technology shapes our world. Forms and structures may disperse, combine or collide, I'm interested in this intersection between the states and how they manifest and evolve. My paintings are spacial and metaphorical interpretations of these complex connections between the physical and immaterial that may inhabit us, or may already exist.
