Michal Cygan

Michał Cygan, born in 1989 in Wadowice, is a Polish multidisciplinary artist. A graduate of the School of Art in Bielsko-Biala, he studied graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.

The strength of his works lies in the integration of small, poetically imbued characters immersed in captivating scenes. Through his art, he crafts a visual narrative, inviting the viewer to unravel the storyline of an artistic tale.

Michał Cygan's canvases have been exhibited in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. Particularly attuned to social issues and his surroundings, the artist strives to be an authentic observer of reality, often perceived as harsh.

While he favours acrylic painting, he never excludes the addition of new techniques in his experimental process to disrupt his artistic practice.
