Trust Icon

TRUST. Icon is a street artist from Thamesmead, in the south-east of London. A district of brutalist concrete public housing, made famous for having served as a decor in the cult film of Stanley Kubrick from 1971, Orange Mechanical. Icon began to create very early, but did not emerge on the street art scene that a few years ago, after the London riots in 2011. Icon thought that if there were positive messages in The world, these messages did not reach young people who needed the most to see them, and that's where his work started. Inspired by both cartoons and reality, Icon now delivers these messages through its socially responsible street art. It combines a unique mixture of controversy and humor that assures you to always have "a sugar spoon to help pass the medication". Active in the streets of London, Berlin and Los Angeles, his unique style has earned him an acclaimed by criticism for his works that cause reflection. The identity of Icon remains unknown. The street art is the unpublished and not censored voice of the people. But now that he is commercially viable, which was once a murmur has become a roar of anger! Never underestimate his power, he is able to inspire a single thought or an entire generation. ”
