Laurence Germond is an instinctive artist, passionate about drawing and painting, which she has practiced since childhood. It was a trip to Florence, the cradle of Renaissance masterpieces, that awakened in her this love for painting. Furthermore, Laurence lived abroad for a long time, drawing her inspiration from various human, cultural, and emotional experiences. Thus, she perfects her techniques and her style.
Working primarily with watercolor, Laurence plays both with the lightness, delicacy, and brilliance of colors, as well as with the granularity and mineral quality of pigments. The luminosity brought to her paintings by a hint of pearlescent and sparkling effect makes her contemporary canvases unique.
