Louis Savage is a draftsman and painter who originally comes from Cornwall and now lives in London. He studied Fine Arts at Kingston University in 2005 and has since refined his craft; his works are now in private collections around the world. Savage's characteristic technique consists of creating complex images on paper with a pen by means of stippling. In stippling, an image is composed of very fine dots, and he masters this technique to create images that are both detailed and delicate. Savage's subjects are often nature and small observations from everyday life, which he captures with remarkable fidelity and precision. Through the skillful use of dots, he succeeds in creating images that captivate the viewer and reveal the depth and richness of his subjects. His meticulous working method means that each dot is placed with care and intention, resulting in images that are both precise and expressive. With his work, he invites the viewer to take a closer look at the world around him and appreciate the beauty of details.
