Sasha C. Bokobza

Sasha C. Bokobza is a multidisciplinary artist born in 1979. Diplômed in 2003 of ENSAD Paris, she became Motion Designer at France Télévisions then artistic director for TF1 and the CNRS. In 2008 she founded the studiomerci, an expert in DA 360 and began to teach in a master's degree in digital creation in Lisaa. In 2015 her practice of drawing and painting became central. The residence at the Gorki Leninskie museum in 2017 marks a turning point by allowing its paintings to travel around the world. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including the fall fair since 2019. She also performs live sketches during concerts and events (TF1 Foundation, Casa Fireidida in Madrid). His figurative style is inspired by Turner's Impressionism, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec and Felix Vallotton crossed to the realism of Edward Hopper and the abstraction of Rothko. The study of movement and light are at the heart of its mode of representation. In 2018 it starts a project combining music and painting by composing the album "& nbsp; nasty boy & nbsp;" According to a series of portraits inspired by actor Nicolas Ullmann. In 2020 Paul Kimble (Grant Lee Buffalo) offered to make the album which is now accessible on all musical platforms since July 2022.
